Specialties in Geriatric Massage and Massage for Mental Health
I offer light-to-moderate pressure, flowing therapeutic massage and have special training and interest in geriatric massage and the use of bodywork to enhance mental health.
Gentle massage is available for elderly clients at all levels of health and in multiple settings (e.g. skilled nursing, assisted living). Referrals are welcome from medical professionals, activities staff, as well as family members who wish to give the gift of massage to their aging loved one(s).
I currently practice part-time and am available for evening and weekend appointments. I spend my days as a graduate student in clinical psychology and am happy to collaborate with mental health professionals when clients wish to add bodywork to their treatment plan.
