I'm currently renting a room in a day spa but we have been having some problems and I would like to find another place. Unsafe things like lights blowing (I mean really blowing up. Glass flying everywhere), cabinets falling off walls, the advertised phone line has been disconnected, and a few other things. The problem isn't getting out of the contract with it being unsafe and harmful for my business.

So I've been looking for other places to move to. My question is where do most of you find the rooms you are in? Do you call people until to see if they have a room? Honestly that is what I did here and this is what happened. Is there some sort of place they advertise? I've checked craislist but I'm not really finding anything.

Where are you located? There are always rentals on Craig's List in my area. I found both spas and wellness centers there with rentals avaiable.  You might want to book a couple of massages in studios you might be interested in to check it out and start from there.

Looking to rent, then? Your going to need to canvass everywhere! Put your name out and tell them why. It's difficult, but doable. Sorry I couldn't help more.

One option is to see if your school has a postings list for rentals and jobs.  Often as an alumni service these sorts of lists are provided and rental places contact the school when they have openings. Just an idea.
