Cupping in Illinois
Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone knew speciffically if MT's in Illinois are legally allowed to use cupping in their practice. I've looked at the requirements- I dont have the exact wording, but it stated that "cupping used with fire" was not allowed. I have a set of rubber cups from Acucups that don't involve fire or using a pump like other sets do. Would these be ok to use on my clients?

Has anyone received info on this? I've been searching for a long time. I'm a board certified holistic health practitioner and would like to know if I can do cupping. I'm not licensed just certified in my field. I also do reiki and reflexology. I've tried contacting so many people and seem to get the run around and no definitive answers.
