Where do you go to shop wholesale massage product other than Massage Warehouse? Is there a site or company that actually a license number to give a lower price?

Often, discounts are based on the volume sold. If you are a sole proprietor, your purchasing power will not be as great as a busy spa, clinic or medical office. There are many massage supply 'wholesale' companies. The best approach is to find one you like and develop a relationship with one of the corporate sales reps. Most charge shipping and packaging fees so be sure to include this in your price comparison. Also look at medical supply warehouses that cater to doctors, physical therapists and chiropractor, most carry an extensive supply of massage equipment/supplies.

just tossing an idea out there. many small retailers form a consortium through which they purchase large quantities similar to how big boxes would and thus gaining efficiency through discounts/price breaks. similarly, independent massage therapists can come together and do the same? i don't see why this is not possible.

Great idea. Thank so much for the feed back!
