I am so sorry Darcy to hear. I will keep him and all that love him in my prayers.
I hold this family and many others JUST like them in my hearts and prayers. There for the grace of God go I.
Cancer is a terrorist, worst than Osama Bin Laden ever HOPED to be. More devastating than any well planned terrorist plot, it rips and shreds at the fabric of our families and leaves wide gaping holes in its wake.
Without research, these truths will remain constant...and we will continue to lose these precious angels God has loaned us for just a short while.
For this child, we can all afford to send a card, because if it makes him smile, it is well worth the time.

As my own daughter battles Medulloblastoma, I can fully appreciate the simplicity of his request. You see, these babies don't understand what it is like to be like us, healthy and vibrant...All they have ever known is Hospitals, Clinics, and Meds...Chemo and Radiation....They live in the moment, and what will make him happy is to know others are thinking of him.

I happily placed my card in the mail yesterday, and with it winged a thousand prayers for his beautiful family and their support group.
Angie you are awesome. Thank you so much for your support with Noah. Only you could understand. You are a very special ANGEL. HUGS.

Diana Biorkman, mother of 5-year-old Noah Biorkman, says outpouring of support is 'humbling, incredible'

Diana BiorkmanNoah Biorkman, 5, who has been diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma, received more than 10,000 cards from people around the world on Saturday. When South Lyon resident Diana Biorkman posted an entry on her son Noah's cancer care page asking for people to send Christmas cards so that they could celebrate the holiday early, she couldn't expect what would follow.

Soon, there was a Facebook page set up, a television crew echoing Diana's plea over the airwaves and a Reddit item with almost 900 comments.

According to the care page, the number of cards arriving at the family's home swelled from 64 on Tuesday to more than 10,000 on Saturday.

Detroit Children's Hospital Care Pages, Nov. 8: We are opening and reading each and every card. This is taking some time. It is just humbling, shocking, incredible, astounding... the outpouring of love for one sick little boy.
Noah Biorkman was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2007, when he was 3 years old.

He went into remission, but then relapsed in September 2008. His family is not expecting him to make it to Christmas Day.

On Friday, Noah got a visit from the South Lyon Fire Department, who sent "Santa" to see him.

On Sunday, the family gathered at the Biorkmans' house to celebrate. Despite new pains cropping up, Diana says she is happy to have been able to give her son at least one more Christmas.

Detroit Children's Hospital Care Pages, Nov. 8: No matter how hard this is or how painful it is, Scott, my family, and I can say one thing -- Noah had Christmas today. And for that, I am grateful.
Merry Christmas Everyone! The world helped make it special for Noah, my family, Scott, and myself. I can guarantee one thing -- This week was a week that none of us will ever forget
Thank you, Darcy! I would like to thank everyone that sent a card and/or present. I know therapists helped and that above all else is what we want to do. Thanks, again everyone!
Count me in ~ we sent off a couple cards too. South Lyon isn't far from here, and I did see him mentioned on the local news. Hy heart goes out to him & his family, they're very, very brave.
Thanks Henry, looks like Noah is going to be getting Christmas cards for awhile!
