i was looking to get some ideas out there from anyone that can help. i have a gentleman i see that has a very short neck. I know his scalenes are inhibiting him from putting his head back. But am having a hard time getting in and working them. I do know that most of his TP are active in this area also. Any one with ideas it would be greatly appreciated. thanks steph

when not able to work on the neck using direct approach I love this one: http://www.therossitersystem.com/downloads/twoshouldertechniques.pdf

key is to let the head roll like a light bulb on the floor

without pivoting, lifting or adjusting

that will get a good stretch in lateral posterior neck

Diane has a video of it on her web site

Try working the attachment points in the c-spine and then offer scalene stretch as homework
thanks you guys
