massage and bodywork professionals

Dear Therapists,

Today, I called a client who I had not seen in a while and asked if she'd like to book a massage. She answered, "Sorry, I can't now - I'm pregnant."

After many congrats, I suggested she consider coming in for some bodywork since there are so many benefits. She said she'd really like to, but would first like to run it past her doctor and asked if I could provide some resources for her to learn more and present the case to her ob/gyn. Of course, I agreed.

However, I am currently working away from my home, where all of my massage books and printed resources are so I turned to the internet to gather some information and have been surprised at how tricky it is to find something that I could easily forward/email which clearly outlines the benefits as well as present the risks in a balanced way for this active and fit new mom-to-be (1st trimester/ 1st pregnancy).

I hope that in this discussion some of you can share links and/or upload resources that I can share with my client who, in turn, can share them with her doctor. (By the way, this client and I are in Poland, so tracking down Elaine Stillerman's books might be kind of tough, but I'll try; luckily the resources _can_ be in English...).

Furthermore, I would be especially interested in seeing any information on Craniosacral work, reflexology, and Polarity Therapy during pregnancy.

To get us started, I am including 2 rather general links that I've fished out of the ether.

Much thanks,
Olga
