My clients and I enjoy soft piano music during massage.  If you know of some titles with soft piano music, I would appreciate a list of them.  Thank you for your help.  Kelley - LMT - Nebraska and Iowa

Here's a nice Sleepsong by Secret Garden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_cdXNWD1VY

Sleepsong by Secret Garden
Lay down your head

And I'll sing you a lullaby

Back to the years

Of loo-li,lai-ley

And I'll sing you to sleep

And I'll sing you tomorrow

Bless you with love

For the road that you go

May you sail fair

To the far fields of fortune

With diamonds and pearls

At your head and your feet

And may you need never

To banish missfortune

May you find kindness

In all that you meet

May there always be angels

To watch over you

To guide you each step of the way

To guard you and keep you

Safe from all harm

Loo-li,loo-li,lai-ley

May you bring love

And may you bring happieness

Be loved in return

To the end of your days

Now fall off to sleep

I'm not meaning to keep you

I'll just sit for awhile

And sing Loo-li,lai-ley

May there always be angels

To watch over you

To guide you each step of the way

To guard you and keep you

Safe from all harm

Loo-li,loo-li,lai-ley

Loo-li,loo-li,lai-ley

HI michelle,

I definately like the ipod set up! as far as music choice goes I pretty much try to go with the clients most favorite generes - chanting? I even encourage the clients to sing/chant along with the music especially if they like and choose chanting - I'll even chant along with them - very powerfull experience! try it!!!

I have an iPod nano 8g on a classic boom box that has all of my music for massage. A collection of at least 50 CDs is easily shuffled or played by album, even repeat modes. I really like lifescapes, get em at target. Some of my favorites are relaxing orient, yoga, and relaxation for women. I have some classical stuff, but it mostly mixed with nature sounds too.
What I do not prefer, but clients don't mind are the nature sounds, water or ocean sounds, rain, or chanting. Actually, chanting is considered religious yes? So I shy away from it. I give them the option of music or not, and what kind they like, or even to bring their own in. One client brought in, some r& b, so whatever floats your boat. I like the iPod cuz I can bring it to both offices, outcalls, and listen to it while I fall asleep!
