Chances are, you know a massage therapist who has suffered from an injury that has kept them from working, if you haven't experienced an injury yet yourself. It's a scary thing to think about, since we love our careers and our clients so much. Most LMTs are also independent contractors, therefore unable to make a Workers' Compensation claim if/when an injury does occur, so the safety and protection of our hands truly lies in our OWN hands.

Please join me as I teach a 6-CEU workshop in historic Oregon City, Oregon (the end of the Oregon Trail!) based on the 2nd Edition Save Your Hands! book written by Lauriann Greene & Rick Goggins and learn a multitude of ways to protect your most valuable assets--your hands and body! Space is limited, so please sign up to save your spot and get your book soon. If you aren't able to join us in the next few months, you may want to purchase the book now and begin to read through it, then sign up for a workshop at a later date. Print and share the Save Your Hands! Flyer with the LMTs and students within your network as well!

2013 dates are still available, and many, many more coming in 2014. Visitwww.rslmt.com/SaveYourHandsCEWorkshops.html for more information and workshop dates. You can register through the website, or directly at www.eventzilla.net/user/rslmt
Time: 9am-4pm, including a break for lunch
Location: 707 Madison Street, Oregon City, 97045--Subject to change based on number of participants.
CEUs: 6 NCBTMB Approved CEUs
Cost: $219.95--includes a copy of the 2nd edition Save Your Hands! book (required for the workshop, please read through prior to hands-on workshop) and cost of workshop.

Proven methods exist to lower the incidence of work-related injury. Many of them involve making simple but important changes to your activities, both at work and elsewhere; others will take more thought and practice to apply. But taking the necessary steps to prevent injury is much easier and less disruptive to your career than dealing with an injury once it has occurred. Ideally, all students should learn effective injury prevention and ergonomics techniques during their training, to prepare them for the challenges of their future careers.

Space is limited--sign up now to guarantee your spot!

Print attached flyer, post at your office, and tell the other therapists in your network.

T spheres® are innovative and unique self-massage balls born from over 15 years of research & development. This natural way to relieve pain from the body uses the two most scientifically researched alternative methods for stress relief. The infusion of aromatherapy essential oils into purified, perfectly weighted organic rubber compound has never been accomplished before; making t spheres® the only massage ball with both beneficial attributes.

The t spheres concept was developed while traveling with massage clients on tour. Stephanie Whittier LMT, CST needed to take care of herself – tennis balls and other rubber balls were not satisfactory to release trigger points and she started to play with different types and sizes of a varied group of rubber balls – this is when she came up with the compound that is the t spheres massage ball. Always interested in aromatherapy she came up with a way to combine the two in a patent pending process – no other massage ball can accomplish this, this product is truly unique.

Each travel bag comes with a spray-top re-infuser and simple ‘how to use’ pictorial instructions.

“T spheres® are a great tool for therapists who want to prevent RSI and have a long, healthy career”
