Thanks, Pat, for the encouragement. I've let the Universe have it and will wait to see what comes from it. I'm now so looking forward to my Master class, all my attention is focused on it. I love the experience of a group getting together to share Reiki, experiences and study. I will admit, I do feel apprehensive on the first day of class...challenging myself to accept a change from the known to the unknown can be scarey in the first few moments...then I realize that there is nothing to be scared of...it's all good. I learn so much and I leave the group feeling very strong. My hands pulse with energy. I even have strong healing reactions. Has anyone experienced thirty days of healing after their Reiki attunements?

Had my Reiki share last Sunday and unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we had to have it indoors. Still the energy was great and my co host's cats were digging it too. We are going to try again in May and try to send distance energy out there that it is a beautiful sunny day!

I am teaching my 3-day Dynamic Energy Balancing core course in Ashton, Md (Baltimore/Washington area) June 25-27. Persons who have taken some energy work classes already, can sense the field, and are able to do at least a simple energy work session, can come to the class. Experience with Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, or other energy work approaches are all fine background for this class. I know what you are saying, I have had some of the people in my group break off and form their own group, basically stealing my idea but that's life. Again I do not take it personally. I think we as practitioners are all in this together, we are here for a higher purpose and need to get the ego out of it. Some people are more far along on that plane then others. I just try to help whoever wants my help. If they don't want my help that's OK too. We all need to seek our own paths in this world.
Having said that I am co hosting a reiki share at someone's house this Sunday. We have had a lot of interest in it and are hoping the weather will co operate so we can have it outside. As I said we have had some successful meetings but there have been a few roadblocks too. I would suggest just keep trying and put it out there for the Universe to decide. if it is meant to be, it will happen. Good luck!

Hi Pat,
Thanks for the information. I have my Master/Teacher attunement class coming up this June. I live in an area with lots of Reiki practitioners, yet no one wants to hold a reiki-share group. I've brought up the idea with several practitioners and they seem interested...but I get that "vibe," y'know? Like I'm my own island? It's weird. Most of the therapists in the area just want to do their own thing and really don't want to do joint ventures. It's sad, really. I see Reiki-share similar to a massage therapist getting regular massage treatments and reflexologists getting reflexology treatments to keep them healthy, tuned up and "tuned in." I read an article last year in Reiki Magazine on this.

I have been hosting reiki shares for the past year or so. My shares are open to the public as I have a meetup group that can participate. Most people who do not practice reiki who come end up wanting to be attuned to reiki which I can do since I am a Master/Teacher. As is true of anything else, there are always conflict of personalities and some members have dropped out along the way due to differences of opinions about the way I run the group.I do not take that personally since everyone needs to seek the proper teacher. But when it does work out, it is magical,
