I have treated patients with a bone stimulator, but that was for Physical Therapy...

They came here in May of 2009, and I am one of the few original therapists hired in the beginning. I agree with you about the relationships with the clients and the quality of the massage I give to them. Nothing is lost from me. I have notice though that there are many therapists here who work for Massage Envy and are ashamed to speak up and say so. I am all over this site saying I work for Massage Envy and I am glad I do. Thank you massage Envy for my job and the CE classes you so graciously have given to me. So many opportunities for CE education for Free that I cannot possible attend them all, with the WMC and WMF, plus all the benefits they provide including Health Insurance. Plus ast year they donated $600,000.00 to the American Cancer Society during Massage With A Cure. There is just so much folks do not know about Massage Envy.

I've been a Massage Therapist for 5 years and have worked with Massage Envy for 4 1/2 years. I want to put my 2 cents in about the section 'What have we lost?' Believe it or not, most of the therapists and I have a very strong passion for massage and healing. None of the quality is sacrificed for the sake of quantity. We have very strong relationships with our clients and they always return whether if it's once a month, every two weeks and for some, once a week and they always look forward to their massage. And during the session, I've been through their job loses, weddings, divorces, the birth of grandchildren, cancer remissions. Just because we work in a franchise, doesn't mean we're not human. We all have to start somewhere and Massage Envy gave me a job to a profession I love when everyone else turned me down because I didn't have 5 years experience.

M&B is a phenomenal professional journal. The focus, breath & depth on treatment for structural issues places M&B in a class of it's own. The treatments & technique articles from the likes of Art Riggs, Ben Benjamin, and many others has been invaluable to my practice, not to mention the clients who have benefited.
