That's great Trevor! You will be pleased by the 'upgrade' that training provides to your skill set. Or perhaps initially miffed because it certainly sends you back to the proverbial drawing board, but in a really really good way. I am reposting your link trager.co.uk with some clikkable html. Best regards, Alex

Hi Alex

Thanks for you reply, I have actually been looking at Level 1 training here in the UK, this forum brought it back into my attention as something I would love to learn.
For anyone who's interested the UK site for practitioners and training is http://www.trager.co.uk

Hi Trevor, yes that is how many of us caught the Trager 'bug'. It's main feature is exactly that: effortlessness. Sound like the practitioner who gave you the session had the Trager touch. I have a colleague out here who knows nothing about Trager except what I've told her. She gave me a sampler of her touch once and I remember being struck by the "trager-ness" of her work. Some just have "it". Hope you decide to train in Milton's approach someday. Best regards, Alex

I am totally intrigued by The Trager Approach, I would love to learn and incorporate it into my treatments.

I once received a sports massage from a therapist who was also trained in Trager and how can I say, Trager informed and influenced his approach and touch profoundly.

I have never had a massage where I was so relaxed so quickly and yet with someone performing many passive range of motion stretches and literally throwing my limbs around effortlessly.
It wasn't a Trager treatment but incorporated that way of feeling and touching, it was one of my favourite massages ever.
