Observing breathing pattern disorders in the most chronic TP affected client.

My observation is those that are belly breathers are the worst.

Do you do any diaphram release work and give corrective breathing advice? if so what do you ask your clients to do.?

Hi Steve

I don't think you have to worry about abdominal breathing of your clients. All males naturally have abdominal breathing while all females have thoracic breathing. First pattern gives males more physical endurance while second type of the breathing is critical for the pregnancy. Males and females are able to add thoracic or abdominal breathing respectively when there is need of extra oxygen during physical activity. Breathing Yoga teaches males to learn how to use thoracic breathing and females to use abdominal breathing during rest to reduce stress, blood pressure and balance respiratory function.
