Pay equity

Massage therapists working in any clinic, spa, hotel or other institutional setting should check out the Alliance of Massage Therapists at bandofhands.com. As a united group we can establish a new industry standard for pay. We are currently targeting a 70/30 split as a new fee schedule. Collective bargaining is the only way to establish this fair pay scale. Check the website and join today.

    Are you targeting employees or independent contractors? Are you aware that many workplaces do not pay their MTs a percentage? Are you aware that your 70/30 split is financially unworkable for most employers? How was 70/30 chosen as a "fair pay scale" for all markets?
