    Hey Paul! Let's chat!

If you work in an existing massage business, your best "marketing" approach is to give a free massage to everyone who answers their phones and/or or makes appointments.

If you work on your own directly seeking clients, (while it's more sales promotion than marketing) I suggest you begin by giving a free massage to each of the biggest "gossips" that you know and if they like your work, inviting them to refer anyone else whom they think might like what they have just enjoyed/benefited from. Additionally, after each massage, you could do the same.

Find a client who does internet marketing as a profession and ask if they will barter. Get your biz up top on Google and yahoo in the local box. I wouldn't pay anyone any extravagant fees to advertise.

Still, it's rough going here. I'm in hillbilly NH.

    Best wishes for prosperity, Joe

    HI Paul,
Marketing has never been my strong point so most of my clients have come by word of mouth. Its always good to have a Chiro or an Osteopath for a client, they never fail to give good referral.
Noel is right. Give away what you do to the right people and it will tend to come back three fold.
I just shelled out a grand for a new website which should be up in a month or so. I think it may pull in a few new clients . We shall see.

just pokin around and am reading some of your wall posts...so i'm guessing you've had some questions on marketing.

you might want to check this place out. i haven't done it yet. but as a graphic designer i like what they offer. and i also like the fact that there is no committment so if it doesn't work in bringing leads you can always cancel it.

anyhow...i'm planning on giving it a shot in the next month or so. i'm gonna go with the marketing package since it has the google search feature which is most important if you're gonna have a website.
