Hi Ivy - thanks for getting in touch with me. I'm happy to compare notes and share resources with you in anyway - plus look over the course you wrote. There is so much to consider working with HIV/AIDS and the massge therapy piece is almost invisable in the overall picture of health care delivery (as it is generally). I am evaluating a massage student outreach program to a detox centre attached to a supervised injection site and one of the things that blew me away is managers telling me residents who are waiting for their HIV test reslts and get positive results have a far easier time adjusting to the news if they are getting massage treatment - huge role in descreasing stigma. I hope to presenting the results at the CIM conference in Seattle in May. Thanks again for getting in touch and I look forward to sharing knowledge and interest with you.
