Dear Stephen: I am pleased to have you as my friend. I am a Certified Aromatherapy Teacher. Here is some information I feel you will find interesting.
Aromatic Blessings,

What follows are a few recipes for uplifting and releasing depressed emotional states - use your intuition to find the right one. Often, the single essential oil or blend you find most attractive will be the one that serves you best.
Experiment, explore, and have fun with these fantastic gifts of nature. Where a carrier oil is indicated - blends with carriers are intended specifically for aromatherapy massage (self-massae is very effective, as well as a simple massage from a friend or loved one).
For releasing and opening the heart:
1 drop Rose 4 drops Sweet Orange or Bergamot
Brightening, refreshing and uplifting:
4 drops Bergamot 1 drop Ylang Ylang 4 drops Grapefruit
4 drops Bergamot 4 drops Clary Sage 1 drop Frankincense
4 drops Bergamot or Sweet Orange 4 drops Clary Sage
1 drop Frankincense 4 drops Lemon Nourishing:
4 drops (Roman) Chamomile 25 mls. Carrier oil of choice
Floral and earthy (uplifting and softening to Spirit):
1 drop Neroli 4 drops Orange
3 drops Chamomile 4 drops Bergamot 1 drop Helichrysum
Stress essential oil blend: 4 drops orange, 3 drops lavender, 1 drop ylang ylang. This blend works together to stimulate the release of the body's natural stress reducing chemicals that calm all reactions and offer emotional support. Orange and ylang ylang will calm and lift the gloom and doom of depression. Once the stress or depression is lifted, one can maintain a brighter outlook when facing challenging situations. Lavender offers the "take a deep breath" moment to stabilize and think before you react. Over time, maintaining stability and emotional agility, confidence, relaxation and peace of mind will be your natural graceful state. This formula is a must for children and nervous pets.
Hello! Thank You for noticeing! How are you and what's your opionion on massage therapy? I have worked on the rotator once and I only work this area with permission and education for the client. I believe it is very important to those who have issues with glutes, rotators, It band, AD/AB muscles. What is your view point? Are you requested or is just part of your technique?
Hey Stephen, thanks for checking in... no not so rowdy these days, too much things to do and not enough time in the day- so internet rowdiness suffers. But lots of rowdiness on the dance floor!
Happy Holidays!

Hi Stephen,
My son and daughter in law are now living in London, Cheswick area. He is working for WeightWatchers.com and she is a teacher.. My daughter in law loves Massage. Where is your studio and how much do you charge for a sesson?
I plan on visiting in the Spring. I was wondering if there are any conferences or symposiums scheduled. I would like to make this trip both business and pleasure.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stevie fella,
I hope you're having plenty of Irish coffee to warm yerself this Christmas. I hear it's witches boobies weather over there are the minute. I skyped a load of relatives today so that's how I know. Squirrels have skype too, you know?
Have a nice one!
Stephen,
I'm a recient graduate/licenced Massage Therapist. A fellow student invited me to join this web site, but I am overwhelmed with people wanting me to invite them or they are inviting me; and I'm sorry to say I'm not sure how to navigate from my e-mail site to massage and bodywork site. Problem is, I live out of town, I travel 30 miles round trip to my massage room 6 days a week. I work my clients hours, so I am getting home at 7:30 to 9:30pm. I don't feel I have time to manage this site, I feel guility about dropping everyone. Is there some "simple" way to resolve this, short of "delete"? Thank you. Penne
Ha! yea thats funny! the first nymph. Not exactly the name i will be using for my massage biz tho! I have had this online bath and body store since 2002.
nice to meet you too Stephen! So how are you enjoying being a massage therapist?

Flattery will get you everywhere. Yes, school always keeps me busy and I LOVE the client break. I only see one or two people a day now; it's a good balance for me.
Good to hear from you Stephen, take care.
I've been reading up on absracts from research on thoracic outlet syndrome in pubmed.
Failure to help these clients using non invasive techniques can mean surgery resulting in first rib and muscles being removed, with a 60% to 85% sucess rate and on rare occasions nerve damage.
I am collating as much info as I can, to help stimulate discussion in our MBP community as to how best we serve the TOS diagnosed client.
BLOG to follow.......Thanks to Chris Moyer and Rosemary and Robin for stimulating my interest in this research :)
