Hi Kris, not imposing at all! I'm recently out of school in Mississippi and through with my MBLEx. Waiting on an interview in Louisiana at a medical spa. So excited about this! Also am very excited about networking with so many states! Would love to visit LV one day!!
Hi Kris...not imposing...thanks for the welcome! I am currently in school and start my internship next week. I am a companion to hospice clients and want to work with hospice clients...especially oncology...when I finish school.
Greetings, Kris, Thanks for the contact in Las Vegas. Coming there in October for a business meeting. My father lived in Las Vegas. Only met him once. Wonder about living rather than visiting nevada. Have a couple that appreciated my work ; we met in Minneapolis over Easter. They had never had "Return To Function" body work before. If you are interested, please stay in touch and we can meet in October. I am interested in learning about real life in Las Vegas. The glitz must have a reality base, doesn't it?

Hi Kris,
I think it would be great to connect with other people in our profession around the world. I'm a newabe, only been in practice about a year. Love the work, but will be nice to have other bodyworkers to share things with. Example: I had my first request for "Hot Stone Massage" a few months ago. I was sweating beebee's, got on UTube and found the greatest demo from a school in Russia doing Hawaiian Stone Massage. All went well, someone to talk to would have helped with the nerves, though. I'm in Oregon, so hi neighbor. Chat when you can. Penne
Hi Kris, great to meet you! and no your not intruding. It's a great idea to know other therapist everywhere. I have been a Massage Therapist for 18 years, and have enjoyed every moment of it. Please keep in touch, Oh I go by my middle name of Kathie, thanks always, Kathie
Hi Kris, Thanks for welcoming me! I'm in Maine, as I'm sure you noticed :) I'm just getting going on this site but it seems very worthwhile. I'm getting sucked into reading old blogs/posts. Lots of useful information. So thanks for the request and hope to chat and see you on here soon!
PS...LOVE the history behind las vegas. Such and interesting town. ~ Alicia
Hi Kris,
Welcome - I am new also. I am a spa manager. I don't perform massage so I will enjoy learning a lot from a different perspective.

Its amazing how time flys!! I'm going into my 12th year. You have some interesting topics on your profile....really good fresh ideas! Always good to stimulate ways to market your business. You have a great one as well!
Hi Kris,
I'd prefer not to do the friend thing on this site. Thanks for the request. I'm more interested in reading posts and commenting. Wishing you success. Smiles, Lauren
I look forward to seeing what this site will bring to me.
I have been longing for a sense of support in our field.
I dont know how much I can communicate at this point, as I am
trying to get my practice off the ground right now, but it is
great to know that there is a network here. Best to you, and see you
around here!
I have been a therapist for 6 months. Just graduated in December of 2009. Its awsome. Want to learn more and more. Very exciting. Nice to meet all of you as well. :)
Hi Kris. Thanks for your friend request. I got my massage license recently and am just getting a practice started. It's nice to see that a lot of other people are newly licensed here too. Looks like a great place to communicate with others in our field. I'm licensed in both Florida and Maryland. Looking forward to talking to you and the others here!
Hi Kris, I'm in New Jersey, the lovely, unspoilt part near the Delaware river. We are hoping to move to New Zealand soon to be with my family. Love my profession, love to share what I've learnt and love to learn new stuff and meet new people
I do not get out much, but howdy! As I reply to customers who ask "What's night life in Calistoga?" -"This is it, I am here working" :-) I have gotten so used to working weekends that when I started teaching, I was not used to having free time. I am STILL getting used to having more time during the summer. Good luck on the bodywork profession.
would YOU know? --Is there a function for folks who are looking for us when we change spas? Non-member search, that is?
Dear Kris.
Thank you very much for offering your friendship and networking.I hope our friendship will be pleasant and mutual beneficial.BTW.occasionally I am teaching at Las Vegas and am member of local meetup group.really having fun to be with people of Nevada.
Best wishes.

Hey Kris,
I lived in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas - moved back to Utah in 2008 after 7 years there. I still have family in LV so I'm down about every few months. I taught the Advanced Massage Therapy Curriculum at The Academy of Healing Arts (near the hospital on Charleston, and was on the Hi-Tech Institute's Massage Therapy Advisory Board years ago). I love this business of bodywork and energy work - helping people to help themselves and to feel good from the inside out is such sacred work! I'm happy to know you!
Hi Kris.
I'm sorry that my presentation was canceled. Something happened in life of my promoter and he couldn't finish his job.soon I am planning to come back and hope to see you.
Best wishes.
Boris
Hi Kris,
Never an intrusion to make the acquittance of a fellow massage therapist. It's nice to meet you. I haven't been on any sights with other therapists before. Kind of sad since I've been one for 10 years. I don't get out much.
Are you in private practice or work in a spa out in Vegas? I bet it's hot there. Today's temps here are in the high 90's with humidity.
I agree, not an intrusion at all..............I've abeen in practice 28 years
and still amazed at what "I don't know".

Thanks for the hello! I'm new to massage only having been given my license on 6/18/10. Better late to the party than never showing up! I'm very excited about embarking on my journey into connecting more deeply with people and being their tool to assist them on their road to wellness.
