    Hi Gene, I am a working MT in Virginia, i work in a Chiro office and we tend to bill insurance for anyone who has that benefit. There are approx. 5 different codes depending on the type of work that you are doing. When contacting the insurance company there will inform you if MT is covered, from that point you decide which code --some codes are accepted, others are not.
    When doing the SOAP notes, it's important to state what you did so that it corresponds with the code. hope that helped.
