Hey Robin, I've been practicing for 5 years. Currently work at the YMCA in Chicago and work in the professional clinic of the school I went to. (The New School for Massage, Bodywork and Healing.)
Would LOVE to live in Estes Park but it's WAY too expensive. (I was there in June with a buddy. Had a GREAT time.)

Denver has always held a special attraction for me. Plus, coming from Chicago it'd probably be an easier transition to go to a larger city rather than one of the smaller mountain towns.

If things go well my current employer (non massage related) will offer me an early retirement and then I'll be free to move where I wish. Chicago winters are way too cold and painful, the summers way too humid and the city is just so crowded and congested. I've been here all my life and looking for a quieter, simpler, less congested way of life. Denver has about 600,000 people compared to Chicago's almost 3,000,000.

Also, the Midwest isn't exactly a hot bed of massage enthusiasts. Seems the further west you move the more people value massage as a component of their overall health care style.

As I really like doing Sports Massage Colorado seems like it may be a good fit for me and my practice. The people there are super active from what I understand and from what I've observed.

What prompted your move from Florida to Colorado? How is business in Florida?

Hey Robin.. i am a therapist that is planning on moving to Florida in a couple of months like December... I was wanting a little information on the state of massage in Florida.. I know that you own your own business and wanted to get a heads up on the industry in Florida and your part of town.. My plan is to start a move to Jacksonville...
