I'm wondering how many LMT's take credit cards in their private practices? If you don't take credit cards, do you feel it impacts your bottom-line. If you do take credit cards; how long were you in business before you began accepting credit cards and how much did it increase your bottom-line after paying the fees involved with taking credit cards? Are there any providers you recommend to start up the process? LAST BUT NOT LEAST how many of you began taking credit cards to charge for the no-show/no-call client?

If you accepting credit cards READ the contract very carefully. My father signed up with a company that heavily advertised there credit card services for a small business he was starting. They were draining his checking account $200 a month in charges and he wasn't even charging any credit cards. What worse he couldn't even cancel the contract it was something like a 2 year contract. Fortunately they upped there rates and buried in the fine print, if you didn't agree to the rate change, you could cancel the service, but he still had to pay the machine rental for two full years. My sister works for a law firm and found that little clause, but it cost him about thousand dollars and he never even charge one credit card with the service. Lots of scammers out there, don't be a victim, read all the fine print.
