I know very little regarding this technique.

If you have had specialized training in its use, how has it effected your clinical outcomes?

Thanks steve

Barral teaches these advanced techniques. What outcomes are you looking for? Supplementation may be a better way to address these problems

Hi Michelle thanks for getting back I will look at Barral's work. I am only asking as I recently gave a regular client (5yrs) some abdominal massage prior to then treating his Erector spinal muscles.

I noted that in using my usual stripping technique on ES, that my thumbs were gliding very easily through what is usually very dense fibrotic tissue.

Had my abdominal massage effected the adrenals in some special way ? that in turn fully relaxed (switched off hypertonicity) in the Erector Spini muscles?

I only ask as I cannot explain why this session would be so different from the many treatments he has had before.

I remember Paul St John talking about kidney/adrenal massage's special effect briefly here

Visceral somatic therapy. The above is an exceptionally interesting interveiw!
