I have a client that is heading out to Hawaii for an Iron Man and I couldn't help but wish I knew a therapist out there to recommend and keep her in tip top shape for the race. Kailua-Kona is where she is headed. If you live and work there or know someone who does that is a Sports Massage Therapist or someone who does Medical/ Recovery Massage, I'd like to be able to let my client know.
Thanks!

Kimberly,
The search function on Massagetherapy.com might help—you can search by zip and specialty.
Check it out: http://www.massagetherapy.com/find/index.php

Thank you Jed,
I noticed that we can search, but the only way to contact anyone is by posting on their wall and hoping that they log-in to see the post. So, I had hoped by posting this way I would have found someone faster, and have a better way to contact them.

Kimberly,
Searching at Massagetherapy.com will give you contact information for providers. (Not www.massageprofessionals.com, this forum).
Here is the link to Sports Massage providers in Kailua: http://www.massagetherapy.com/find/index.php?m=scheck&pkid=250600
Hope this clears it up!

Kim, I don't know whether it would be therapeutically beneficial soon after an Iron Man, but before he leaves, encourage him to experience a lomi lomi massage.
Kim. The Iron Man is a major athletic event. Your problem will not be to find a good therapist . It will be to find a therapist period...They will all be busy. If not totally booked already.. All the ones working in Hotels,, all the ones working in chiropractic offices, And all the ones working in private practices and business anywhere near that area....Its a busy time for massage therapists.. Im sure at the event itself, there will be many massage therapists working on the athletes after the event. Its a busy time for massage therapists in that area. For a few days. Just thought I'd add that comment.
There are a lot of very good therapists working in those first class hotels over there..I think your best bet would be to call one of those hotels and book an appointment, if not too late already, with one of their experienced therapists. He should be fine.

Thank you everyone for your advice. She wasn't able to book a massage sadly since we didn't think about it soon enough, but the event did go well.
