Hi Kris,

I had saved this email on this topic as it began while I was out of town and I am just now getting to it. Thank you for the time you took to post all the wonderful information on Listening. I find it interesting that no one has commented on the topic. My experience has been that most people do not know how to listen. I was there once. I made myself learn how to listen effectively. Nothing grips me more in this field than to go get a massage, tell the therapist what I want done and they do the opposite because they were not listening to me. I write everything down on the intake form the client tells me they want done so I will remember it at the time of the conversation. Plus I always repeat it back to make sure I understood everything that was said to me. Effective listening is about excellant professionalism. With out it you have nothingI
