Are you using electronic SOAP notes?

I'm considering moving to electronic soap notes such as SOAP Vault. Has anyone used this or another electronic based service for SOAP notes? My work is primarily mobile and the majority is from doctors & healthcare professionals. Some are personal injury and insurance which require SOAP. Also currently using Full Slate. I'm thinking this could make life a lot easier -- specifically if they work on a tablet. Thanks for feedback on any experiences you've had.

I am using SOAP notes app from Eclectic DNA. I have it on my phone and IPad. The syncing feature is really nice because I can enter notes on one device and it is immediately synced with the other. The developers are very open to suggestions and very accessible. I have seen lots of improvements and enhancements to the app since I started using it over a year ago. Data entry is quick and easy. I am not sure info can be linked to Full Slate, might want to talk to the developers.
I work as a sole proprietor, but I think a small practice could also use it.

Are you using Iphone/Ipad or Android devices. If is Andriod, which tablet? It's time for me to jump in on that purchase too! I'll have to check that out. Thank you so much for replying, Laurie!

Rob, I use an iPhone and iPad. The iPad is WiFi only so I use the phone app when Internet access is not available. Syncing between the devices is automatic with iCloud. I am not sure how much Soap Vault costs, but Eclectic's SOAP notes was very reasonable (<$20). I also use Full Slate and wish there was a way to link the client data files, maybe in one of the future updates. I really enjoy being paperless, Good luck finding a system that works for your business.

I have been a SOAP Vault member for 1 year And I love it . I also utilize Full Slate...

SOap vault is HIPPA compliant. Soap vault works excellently on android tablet and mobile at my office. I also appreciate the ease of use for my clients ( sending intake forms electronically ) . I have clients sign a consent form at the office,and am able to overlook their health records prior to appointment time.
