What is your sun sign? how do you think this effects your practice if at all?
I am a Libra, I just started my practice so I can't really tell yet
I am just curious what people think about it- I am really big into Astrology and birth charts so it fascinates me to see what others think about it. Or if they do

You don't fool me, Christopher. You're really just a big sweetie pie who wouldn't hurt your grandmother's feelings even if you thought she was off her rocker.

What is your sun sign? I was born Oct 12, so I believe that makes me a Libra in the predominant form of astrology.

Some of you might get a kick out of knowing that my maternal grandmother was very interested in astrology, so much so that she did charts for people and even received payment for this. I'm pretty sure the local newspaper did a feature or two on her predictions, so she was quite well known for this locally. I was pretty close to her and found this fascinating when I was very little, but not long after I became quite skeptical about it. I never discussed my skepticism about it with her, though, at least not that I can remember.

how do you think this effects your practice if at all? Personally, I doubt very much that it has any effect on my life whatsoever.

Denea, my apologies if posting the link to this discussion on the http://mtevidence.ning.com/ site interrupted it, even indirectly.

And she was a little bit off her rocker, too! But that was part of her charm.
Um well I am not offended in the least this is open for discussion to see where things lead I wanted to know what the general feel was among all of us. I think I can pretty well understand why you tend to use the opposing view points most of the time, Libras tend to love debate and feel they must 'see' things from both/ all sides. I was born on October 12th- are you familiar with the other aspects of your chart? I am really interested to see if we share any other aspects.

I found this quote from Albert Einstein the other day and I'm spreading it around on several of these discussions:

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
Hey all! My sun sign is Capricorn with my moon also in Capricorn and Leo is my rising sign- I'm not sure how this effects my practice but I do think it has something to do with my interest in teaching- and being the leader :)
Aries here. And of course, sometimes I can be a Ram. I was raised that messing in Astrology was a SIN. Of course I know better now. There is more Spiritually in Astrology than most Religious belief.
Oh well your rising sign is considered you 'mask' if you will or outside face that everyone sees and Leo- the lion is the leader of leaders, king of the jungle and and who better to teach others than royalty? My husband and mother are Leos and Libras like to think that we speak Leonion fluently :) no offense intended at all in any way

Sun and Mercury conjunction (within 10 degrees of each other) in Libra, Venus and Saturn conjunction accompanied by Pluto in Scorpio, Neptune and Uranus in Sagittarius but not conjunct,Jupiter and Mars conjunct in Capricorn, moon in Taurus, ascending or better known as rising sign is Sagittarius. Talk about heavy on one side right?

Thanks Denea, I appreciate that.

Ah yes, the scales. I hadn't thought about that. In addition, it's also true that I like to 'weight things up' in the form of making measurements and assessments.

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't. And as I mentioned, I personally don't have any belief in astrology. It's a neat coincidence that we have the same birthday, though.
Hi Silvana
I do not do charts anymore. I do understand them pretty well, but one needs to see a whole chart to accurately interpret anything.

Yes I have online Ce's too. www.MassageProCE.com

Hi Gloria,
do you do charts? I am Libra, with cancer rising. I always attract virgo men, and have a relationship for years, but eventually it ends :(. I was wondering, since you know so much,is an Aquarious guy a good one for me? :)
thanks! Oh! and the CE you offer can be done online?

I am a Leo with 5 planets in Leo in my 9th house , Sag Rising and Libra Moon!
Yes I feel astrology plays a huge role in our lives and we interact with others, career etc.

I have been in the healing arts for almost 25 years and 20 of those an educator. with 5 planets in leo I am no doubt passionate about education (and travel, my other love).

As a worker/employee with Virgo on the 10th , I am "on it, organized and motivated". People love me working for them! I take care of their business better than my own.

I have had a woman in Egypt once read my chart and advised me I was one of the most spiritually advanced Leo's she had met. It might explain why I have felt I have not fit the 'typical' explanations of a leo.

I also use astrology to see how I can better relate with my students , it helps tremendously!

Fascinating , Yes!
