massage and bodywork professionals

a community of practitioners

Hi all! I will be graduating in a couple of weeks and I take my license test on Monday. After I past those, I already have a job lined up. I would like to develop my own practice within the next year and I'm kicking out the idea of what niche to serve. I'd like to work with martial artists and MMA fighters. I am not sure how to show that group that recovery is so important to their continuing to fight less injured. That and being a male may be an issue for them. Any suggestions?

Demond! Congratulations and much success

I have worked with athletes etc, in the past. If you are coming out of school, you will definitely want to take more training geared specifically for their needs and be well educated. Actually being a male should work in your favor. Most of the male therapists I know are extremely successful working more sports or medically oriented.
