Credit card readers

I use Intuit to process payment for my clients. Do any of you utilize this merchant service and if so, how long do you wait for payment to be deposited into your acct? My wait is 7 days regardless of when I processed the payment. Even on a Monday, I won't see it in my acct till the next Monday. Looking for other options, if there are any.

I have been using Square for over 18 months. Cost is 2.75% per swipe and the $ lands within one day. The card reader is free and you will need a smartphone or iPad.

i just got my square reader on monday! haven't had an opportunity to use it yet but reading app reviews it seems it either works like a charm or is horrible. good luck to you!

I've been using Square for almost a year. I've had no problems with it and what is great is that it goes directly into your account after a day like Jody said. What's great about Square is it's mobile and you don't need a phone line. Just the smart phone or iPad. And you don't have any monthly fee, fee for the terminal, or daily minimum (I think that's what it is.) Before I got Square I was looking at all these wireless terminals and they were all so expensive and you had to have all these minimums. Square is just the transaction fee.
