There is an article in Massage Magazine this month which addresses deep tissue massage that you might want to read...I do a great deal of DTM myself, and every once in awhile it's nice to look at a DVD just to watch someone else doing it, I learn new things every time. The two DVDs I've seen have been borrowed, but I know you can find online resources that aren't too expensive. One can't have too many "tools in the toolbox", you just never know when that extra technique is going to come in handy!
your hand will guide you the best...move ever sooo slowly....in addition your slow deep breathes allow your fingers to guide you to tension (hard) areas, again slowly apply deep pressure and feel the muscle let go. I mean slowly goodluck... Massage Therapist of 25 years
