I was wondering if anyone knows where I could take a class in learning Ear Candling? I have searched through Bing, NCBTMB and ABMP and can't find a class offered in my area or online. Everything I find for classes are in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Ear candling is very simple. I would suggest you try one yourself and then order one of the online kits. The directions that come with it should be enough to learn it.

Remember that precations for open flame must be taken. I do it with a basin of water under the cone to extinguish it in.

While FDA has many warnings issued against the practise, some people like it and I find it useful for a variety of issues. I see no evidence that it removes wax and find no mention of that by traditional practitioners. It seems to be strictly a new age claim.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks Daniel. I have had it done and did get some benefits from it. I've done some research in to what it can help with. I just thought this would be a nice little addition to add to my practice and I think my patients would enjoy it.

Do you know of a site in particular that I could order from? I have a hard time finding classes or material available in the states.

Thanks again.
