Electric massage tables

Does anyone own an Electric Table? Ifso can you share your thoughts on it ,as well as what kind?
I am very interested in purchasing one>

I love my Earthlite Ellora. Have had it approx. 6 years and have had no trouble with it. The head of the table can be raised manually. I believe it has helped me remain injury and pain free. Funny story: A mentally challenged client was lying prone when she suddenly looked up at me. "Am I moving?", she asked. I explained that she (the table) was. "Oh" she sighed
with relief. "I thought you were doing a miracle!" Her mom and I just looked at each other and grinned.

I've been very happy with my Hill Labs HA-90 since I purchased it in 2003. I opted for the additional pedal so I can raise and lower the table regardless of which end I'm at. Because it drops low enough, it qualified for the ADA tax credit, so it was as if I'd paid several hundred dollars less that first year alone. I did need to pay additional for facecradle receivers, since Hill markets to PTs rather than MTs, but still the price was right, although shipping had a bit to do with it. Distance does factor into shipping costs, so be sure to consider that when you select a manufacturer to purchase from.

It's also made sessions much easier for my clients with mobility challenges. They don't need assistance (or as much assistance) getting on to the table at its lowest setting, which creates a more open environment for them.

I can't begin to estimate the amount of wear and tear on my own body I've avoided by being able to adjust the height of my table, and it has also impacted the settings I chose with my portable table when I bring it with me to events. The initial cost of a hi-lo table can be daunting, but there's a lot to be said for having the best tools available.

If pregnancy massage is part of your practice, I would suggest getting a table that allows clients to sit up. That's an option I did not spring for that a colleague of mine did which makes work with women in their last trimester much easier.

I bought my Golden Ratio Olympus (now out of business) in 2004 and love it. Originally I got it because I was pregnant and was able to massage up to 3 days before delivering. I like that it gives me more options with the kinds of pressure that I use and much less wear on my body. I also have purposefully set the height higher at the start of the massage to remind myself to go lighter if that is what the client has requested.

I would agree that my next table (hopefully not for a while yet), I would like to have the option of the client being more upright. It would not only help with my pregnant clients but others with some medical issues as well.

Avoid a scissors lift bottom. They tend to bunch up the carpet or flooring under them. I have a Master Massage Table and really like it. It has been great and was fairly inexpensive.

I've been using a Comfort Craft table for at least the past 10 years, and now dislike working with a stationary table. In addition to putting my client at an optimal height the table also puts my client in various angles of flexion - wonderful for positional release, stretching, etc. It's the best tool I have ever purchased for my practice, and enables me to see more clients. The tables are eligible for the tax credit, and are very sturdy. My original table was sold to a co-worker who still uses it every day. I'm now on my second. I urge you to look at http://www.comfortcraft.com before you buy an electric lift table.

Hi Noreen, I have a Living Earth Craft electric table. I bought it from a spa going out of business. I have not graduated from School yet but I am thinking about wanting to sell it. Would you be interested? . I think now I jumped the gun since I don't even know where, what I am going to do after I Graduate. I live in Iowa in the NE part. asking 3,000./sells for 4,500.00 w/o shipping.

Thanks evreyone for all the your input about electic tables. I just order a new electric table by eurotechtable. I felted I got a decent deal.
I ordered through massage sunset. Along with a table carrier, at a discounted price.
I will update in the future ,with my thoughts and experience on the new table.

I really like the Lumina Elite from ComfortSoul.com. Its very durable and I felt very affordable as well. It is fully electric and has very plush cushioning.

I had one that I got from a dentist. I used it in my ashiatsu room because that therapist was so short and then she didn't have to adjust the railing. I felt it was too narrow.

But then I found Comfort Craft Tables. Jim Craft worked on me for five minutes and had me in every position there is. If you want top of the line and more diversity than any table I've ever seen, check out Comfort Craft.

Scott's absolutely correct. I have been blessed to own a comfort craft table for many years. It has enhanced my work, added many years to my career and I am able to facilitate opening every joint in the body with great support and tremendous ease. Jim is a great guy and his tables are amazing. comfort craft in florida
