I have a client who has bouts with fibromyalgia.. She says that she tried chaning her diet years ago and it worked. But she went back to her old eating habits. She recently changed back to that same diet; it is called a CANDIDA DIET. She says it is a diet where who limit your sugars and starches to basically none. She says this diet does wonders for her. Has anyone heard anything like this about this diet or any other type of diet.

Yes. It's a great diet to follow and I speak from my own experience. When I first did it (severly limit sugar intake and take a lot of probiotics) I actually felt awful for the first week. One night I fell asleep and slept soundly and deeply. I woke up feeling like I awakened from a bad dream. My head was clear, aches were gone. It's not easy to follow, especially at the holidays, but definitely worthwhile.

There are many similar diets. A good place to start is "The Yeast Connection".
