Does anyone do Fiijian barefoot massage? I am thinking of taking the training through Barefoot Masters. I'd love opinions and do you find cliients have a dislike for your "feet" on them?
I personally have received one and thought it was amazing!

I REALLY recommend taking Fijian massage with it's actual founder, Lolita Knight, the lady who brought it back from Fiji and made that massage what it is. I took the course with her and it was fabulous, I learned a lot about her time spent in Kadavu and the culture she immersed herself into. Lolita's top instructor Christyn is amazing, I also trained with her and would HIGHLY recommend taking the class in person with them, versus by DVD or with an imitator. I do not recommend Barefoot Masters.

Look up Lolita's site: http://www.fijianmassage.com/ and Christyn's site: http://www.barefootmassage.org

I have been using Fijian massage for 5 years, and have a flourishing business with happy clients who love barefoot massage. Fijian is great for deep tissue work while saving your body. But honestly, learning by DVD doesn't help you truly learn the modality, its body mechanics, feel, energy or history. Study with the original source of Fijian massage for the most benefit.
Thanks Jeni. I appreciate the advice!
