-High demand for only one LMT... solutions while taking credit for Client base ??

- With a continuous high demand for massage as the sole practitioner, what solutions, other

  than hiring LMT's to subcontract and asking other LMT's to see Client's while taking a certain percent

  of session cost, are there to decrease the physical toll ??

I think you've mentioned all of your options except to work more days yourself with fewer clients in each day. But if you have more than you can do...congratulations!

It's difficult turning away clients, especially when you feel like you could really help them, but you do have to be realistic. Have you thought about offering shorter sessions? That's really the only way you could keep them on your books that I can think of.

 

So, you want compensation for referring clients out when you are overloaded? Besides hiring an IC or employee I can't see there would be another way to get compensation. When I'm overloaded, I refer out to other therapists free of charge. I would not pay another therapist a % for their referrals, but there may be therapists that would pay you for your referrals.

 

Before moving to San Diego, I had a practice for three years in another state and was at the point where I was too busy to accept new clients. I just referred them out to therapists in my area who I felt could meet their needs and never asked for any type of compensation. I would  have asked for compensation if they worked on the client in my office space only.
