Hiring other MTs?

Hi everybody! So I'm new here so bare with me if there's been lots of talk about this already...

I've had my private practice for a while now, and my job at a spa on the weekends, which is my bread and butter. So I am so busy and do so much volume there, that I found myself overworked and turning away clients and referrals for a while now. I hated to do it, but I just really couldn't keep up and I kept injuring myself. So one day, I decided to look to hire someone to help take the overflow. It didn't go well. Finally, I gave up. Of course, what happens?

I get a message from a very qualified person I'd love to add on to my practice. So now, I'm looking for other people's experiences and recommendation. I really need help on the logistics, with me being the only person, how does this work? What should a pay structure, rules, anti compete, etc look like?

I would prefer to have it more like a commission base than just straight renting -- to me I want to be more invested than just providing space. But again, I feel like this is more complicated than if I just charged rent. So I guess I'm looking for someone who has been here to give me something to work off of, I'm lost!
