Is ACT (Active Release Techniques) worth the cost or are there other comprable programs for MTs?

A chiropractor told me about this program but I find it to be cost prohibitive and maybe geared more to DCs. On the other hand I sure would like to attend the classes. http://www.activerelease.com/

What about myokinesthetics? I just saw an ad in the back of the most recent ABMP magazine. Is this more geared towards MTs? http://myokinesthetic.com/

ART is very expensive. There are other classes that are cheaper. LIke Stewart Taws "STR." I think the ART is very invasive and I often wonder how this form of treatment is trademarked. How could any MT afford to spend $$ for such a pricey seminar?
My Fellow Colleagues,
ART is expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. If you are serious about building a practice geared toward athletes and healing injuries, I highly recommend it. Stewrt Taws work is similar, but ART is more refined and treats over 400 muscles and conditions. I have been a certified ART practitioner for over 8 years and have never regretted my ART education. I have the priviledge of working with Ironman triathletes all year long and work at the Ironman and Olympic championships and I credit ART trainiig for opening those doors for my career.
Sincerely,

ART is very expensive. But I most definately wouldnt invest in that course and not be able to pay some bills or eat.
