Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm interested in taking this course in addition to the other fields I am currently involved in.
This was just taught at the NC-AMTA Conference. I did not take the class but really wanted to - had a schedule conflict. You might visit the NC AMTA website and contact some of their board members (www.amtanc.org) to see what the feedback was like. Hope that helps!
I have incorportated Kinesio Tape in my practice for the last 3+ years. I have taken all 3 level courses and I am going to re-take the first 2 (long story) again the 3rd and 4th of Oct. in Vegas. It is an expensive course but I have found it to be very worthwhile, It has almost unlimited uses and and have found it to be a great tool for my tool box.
The summer olympics featured the women's volleyball team with black kinesio tape on their shoulders! This is how successful and valuable this modality could be in the right hands! Go for it.
