I want input on where to get linens, best quality for the money, and what colors work best for longterm use.  I have clients with sensitive skin/allergies and I cannot use bleach so I am not considering white.

I considered using the green from my logo but I'd like to know what you all use.

Hi Cassandra. I am Cheri and I practice massage and yoga in Redding, Ca.

I like to use White because if there are stains they don't show up.  I don't use bleach...I have found that baking soda works well for getting out stains and also for odor too.  I tried using colored sheets but sometimes the stains were noticeable.

Best quality is the highest thread count and most cotton yet they cost more money.  I tend to try to buy 300 count or higher..because the 200 thread count can feel too rough or thin during a massage.

Good luck!

thanks for the input.  i'll have to try the baking soda.

Can you tell me if that will work for staining other than oil?  I will be working home healthcare and I have some expectation of incontinence.

Hi,  I am not sure if they will work for incontinence.  My guess would be yes but I cannot tell you for sure since I don't have experience with that.

Peace,

I purchase flannel sheets from Kohl's when they are on sale and I have an additional % off coupon.  I usually buy the off white, but have also purchased striped sets. These sheets hold up well, but are not made in the USA.  In my attempt to start buying more American made products, I may need to rethink these purchases.  PA licensing requires bleach be used in the laundering and I would think it would be a good thing to use esp. if you are anticipating incontinence.

I just wanted to tell you that white vinegar is best for getting out those stains.

Sheets that have worked best for me are striped or white. In WA it is required to bleach so I tend to stay to lighter colors to prevent bleach stains.

Thank you all for the input.
