Can someone who has had mitral valve replacement surgery 7 weeks ago have a massage? The individual has been cleared by her doctor for all activity, is not on any meds, and is in good health otherwise.

It would be best to have the client call their doctor's office and get an all clear for massage, document it on your treatment notes, and have them initial it.
