I have been contacted by a legal firm representing medical malpractice cases to review SOAP notes of their LMT client.
They are offering to give me hourly or discuss it with me.
Does anyone have experience with this sort of work? Any suggestions or cautions would be greatly appreciated!

I think I'd try to get a pre-determined fee. Couldn't be many hours involved in reviewing and commenting on SOAP notes. Might be some courtroom testimony or recorded depositions involved, so keep that in mind. Or if you set an hourly rate, establish a minimum number of hours.
Above all, be calm, be truthful. You will do okay.
