October is my one year anniversary at my location in a chiropractic office.  I am wanting to have an open house at the end of October.  Any ideas on how to draw people in my door for the open house and ideas to have during the open house. Here are a few on mine...

1.  I will have a greeter to meet each person and show them around as I am only one person.

2.  I am going to mail an invite to each client with a bring a friend note. market the open house through posters and newspaper.

3.  I will have a door prize drawing, to enter requires name and email address to thank them for entering.

4.  Freebees, lotion, biofreeze, free massage

5.  Whoever schedules at the open house gets a % off

I need people to be interested and have fun and want to schedule a massage

Congratulations, Natalie! How about inviting a couple of other local business owners to partner with you? A caterer to serve healthy snacks, a florist to do some tasteful arrangements, and perhaps a local musician (music style of your choice) to serenade your visitors and provide background music. The beauty of this is they'll tell/invite their friends and customers and you'll have some energetic partners. The result is a vibrant gathering full of new contacts. And you won't feel the pressure of being a one-woman show. You can orchestrate it all and really roll out the red carpet of wellness hospitality. And I would hope your chiropractor partner would also join you by inviting his/her clients to share in the fun.

Takeaways are also really important: a flier on the benefits of massage, a flier on the various modalities/other services you offer, etc.

I wish you all the best in your endeavor!

very good Natalie, wish you the best

Congratulations on your one year anniversary, and I hope the open house is a raging success!

opps you said you would have a greeter, nevermind :  can you hire someone to help you the day of? they would check people in, new people need forms if they are getting massage, tell them about biofreeze, shecdule appointments for % off, in general be personalble and pleasent. maybe one of the chiropractic staff would like the extra $. or to trade for a massage by you of X length.  still have your greeter do as much as possible.

because if you are giving free massage you will be massaging! you could do a demo or two where you explain what you are doing on a volenteer.  like neck work perhaps?

can you advertise to all the chiropractors clients?

consider using an unsheeted table if you do most of your massage on the table, chair massage isn't the same and some might get a better feel for your work if you use a table.
