I am just starting out my career as a MT and I was wondering if there are any recommendations for a product line to use.  There are so many to choose from.  I am also looking at being able to sell products as well.  Thanks

It's impossible to know where to start!  I spent a lot of money on products when I first got started.  I've had the most success with Bon Vitale Naturale oil; there are several in the Bon Vitale line that are really good.  You can get samples from them for I think 25 cents a little packet; that cuts down on your investment and you can find what works best for you.

I don't sell products so I have no recommendations for that side of things.

About the retail products, I would say leave that decision until you've decided what products you will be using on clients. It will be easier to sell retail items if they tie in directly to the experience the client has had with you. This is not necessarily just lotions or oils, but all the "atmosphere" items such as music CDs, aromatherapy scents, etc. Or they could be items tied into the modalities you offer or the type of clients you have, for example someone who mostly does sports massage is likely to have different options for retail products than someone who does pregnancy massage.
