A Licensed Massage Therapist (Mike Hinkle) sold his home and moved into a 20ft camper in order to be able to provide free healthcare to those in need. In late 2007 Mike opened his practice with a chiropractor in Sumter S.C. After about three months into his practice he noticed that many people would come into their office that needed care but unfortunately did not have insurance or enough money to afford the care they desperately needed. Dr. Thad Chalfant the Chiropractor decided that if Mike was willing to provide free care to the Clergy(Preachers, Pastors,etc.) that he would as well. Mike then expanded the number of people that he was providing free care to, to include AIDS patients. He had learned that this area in South Carolina was in the Top 10 hotspots in the nation for AIDS/HIV-according to the CDC(Centers for Disease Control). He began traveling to an AIDS & Assisted Living Facility on his days off, after work or on the weekends, where he provided care for these suffering people. Then he expanded the scope even more to include Cancer patients and Senior Citizens. He started going to Home Health Organizations and Retirement Homes to help these people. Eventually he brought in Sexual Abuse Victims, Disabled Veterans and many others into the realm off people that he dedicates his life's work to. To date Mike has provided OVER $50,000.00 in free care. Also Mike has taken to helping raise money for various thing such as- The American Cancer Society, Local Children's Organizations, School districts and others, raising thousands and thousands of dollars for these causes. Due to tragic circumstance, Dr. Chalfant was involved in a car accident, broke his back, and is no longer able to practice Chiropractic Care. This caused the shutting down of their facility. It is Mike's Dream, that everyone who is hurting and in need of care be able to receive such care. Therefor he has created this movie to go along with a petition to many celebrities and others in order to get a benefit concert held to raise funds to build a facility where this work can continue and needy people can receive the care that they need & deserve.
