I was going to buy the Active Assisted Stretching book, but then I read some mixed reviews on it. What is the best book/DVD/course on stretching?

Tom, are you looking for a book of stretches you can use during a treatment or just stretches in general? I love Stretching Anatomy, and I'm sure some stretches could be incorporated into a treatment, but most of the time I "assign the stretches as homework" for my clients.

Another thing I love is the Massage Library of techniques - http://www.abundanthealth.com/ . It's $5/month for access to the library, but I've really gotten a lot of use out of it.

Hi Alison, thanks for the info. I work with a lot of stiff runners and boxers, plus I'm not exactly as flexible as I should be either.

I don't have the Stretching Anatomy book, but I do have the Yoga Anatomy book, which I love! I'm still trying to decide if I should buy the book that has a bunch of Active Assisted Stretching protocols in it. Meanwhile, I'll check out the abundant health site.

Thanks!
