Teaching requirements
I am contemplating a move from my current home of Florida to Tennessee. I have been a therapist for over ten years now, and would like to teach massage. What are the requirements for doing so, and what suggestions would any of you have to offer in this direction

I'd suggest checking with the state board to see if there are any special requirements they have in order to become a teacher. You could give them a call at 615-532-3202, or visit their website at http://health.state.tn.us/Boards/Massage/index.htm.
Also, another great resource that ABMP is offering is the Instructor 101 webinar series. It's a series of free webinars aimed at helping MTs make the transition into the classroom as an educator. The next webinar is on 10/17, and you can register for free here. You might also check out the ABMP Instructor Resource Program as a whole--there's a ton of free stuff that can help you get started!
