So the chiropractor I work for and I did a combo Living Social deal. Do I send out a thank you note to these people or should I send out a thank you email? Just not sure if its worth spending $84 on postage if the retention is not going to be there. So far we have only had 5 of the 50 people that have come in actually are in our county. I don't know I need some advice. :(

I think that email is a good idea for cost effectiveness and a lot of people will read an email before they will read a note card that comes in the mail. The people that you don't have an email for would be the only ones I'd send through the postal service. In my opinion. It is a great idea that you are doing that.
Thanks what i was thinking too. Gives them an opportunity to opt into my newsletter then.

Hi Stephanie

I agree with Jessica. Thank you notes while personal are a heavy use on resources as well as cost. You could state this somehow on your email as a signature. For example 'In view of reducing our impact on the environment we attempt where possible to use recycled material or provide information by email'. That's just off the top of my head and could be played with a bit.

I love the idea of a thank you though. You might even like to extend an additional offer in the thank you to encourage ra response.

Regards

Jeff
