We Will Miss Ted Kennedy!

How I wish he had more time to help with the health issue more. We will miss him and wish him well on his way. Although he was never President, I will fly my flag this week at half mast. He helped a lot of folks in 77 years and was truly passonate in his beliefs. I only wish he could have seen his life work pay off. I hope all will take a moment and reflect.

Good day Mike! I am shocked that I am the only reply to your discussion group. It is a sad statement in our world when men like these get overlooked. Ted was not a perfect man without flaws, but his dedication and hard work to improve the status of middle class America is well-documented and inspiring. I feel that this year is so critical for the US Congress to stand up and be counted. For once they must create at least a step into the right direction. Ted had this wonderful way of standing his ground while extending the hand to bridge the gap. Most leaders on both sides today just come out swinging. No solutions with this attitude. They oughta lock them all in one room, and tell them that no one leaves until a resolution is acheived.
