Hi Amy! I want to take a moment to welcome you to our group Arizona MT's! I hope we can share our knowledge and experiences and make this an interesting group to visit. I noticed that you practice in Nevada. Are you considering moving to Arizona?
I would love to hear more about Nevada as I have not been there. And would love to know more about your offerings as a therapist.

Hi Andrea, I am always happy to give info when requested. Yes I am practicing in Nevada, Reno to be exact. I am currently working in a Casino Spa. Many challenges there but I love the work and the guest so I can't complain. I am always looking to move where the sun is shinning. I have never been to AZ but an coming for a CEU class this weekend so I can't wait. I hear all the time about the energy of Sedona and Az in general and I am leaning to more of the energy modalities as they are my fav. I am new to the field as I have been practicing only 3yrs now.

Nevada is a great state and I love that most activities can be done yr. round here. Although I don't ski the winter can be nice for just a hike on the local trails. I am new to the area so I still have lots of exploring to do but we have so many fun things to do here.....BBQ rib cook offs, Music venues, fishing, camping and so on. Great place to live.

I professionally have worked at a Day Spa and Massage Envy as well as the current job at the newest Spa in town at the Peppermill Casino. I enjoy the work whether it is "just" massage or "spa" wk. I am pretty flexable and fast on my feet so the "sudden" changes in spa work suits me.
I really don't have a preference to what type of work it I just love doing it!
