ARIANA INSTITUTE’S GERIATRIC MASSAGE CE CLASS – Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly population. Information contained in this course includes: Demographics of Aging, Geriatric Massage Techniques, Benefits of Geriatric Massage, Precautions and Contraindications, Anatomical Effects of Aging, Cardiovascular Effects of Aging, Metabolic Effects of Aging, Dementia, Fibromyalgia, Hospice Massage, Geriatric Massage in a Home Environment, Oncology Massage, Geriatric Massage for Wheelchair Bound Clients and Practice Building Tips. 6 hours of CE credit for Licensed Massage Therapists.

DATE AND TIME: Class meets from 12 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2011.
