Winking at a girl in the dark

Ha! Ha! I was talking to a student today who came into massage as a second career. Her first career was marketing. She's going to be taking the Ariana Institute's massage therapy instructor's course, and she mentioned that massage was her second career.

She said she'd been in advertising for 20 years prior to becoming a massage therapist.

I responded that she would be the perfect person to teach marketing, and she responded, "Oh, yes! Marketing is everything. Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you're doing, but no one else does." LOL!
